Western visitors are sometimes surprised by the stonewashed jeans, mullets and excessive camo (old U.S. military camouflage) walking around Prague. At times it seems like a "Come on, Eileen" video. I say wear what you like, but, yes, BW and I have gawked a little at the guy on the metro in a black leather fringed jacket/pants combo and denim do-rag. Or the gal at the dog food store in a spandex dress stretched so tight it's transparent.

But what do I know? I grew up wearing Zubaz and things that I puff-painted.
To battle this foul fashion, design boutiques, vintage pop-ups and even a locally-designed fashion market have been appearing around Prague. And we're lucky to know a lovely gal, BB, who sells jewelry at some of them. She made this fetching set for me:
